About

A testing lab for research compounds.

Northline Analytical runs purity and identity analysis on research compounds and publishes the released certificates where anyone can find them.

Why we exist

A certificate should be checkable

In the research compound market, a certificate of analysis is often a PDF that arrives with the product. It is easy to produce, hard to check, and impossible to trace back to a lab if anyone asks a question about it.

We built Northline around the opposite default. When we release a certificate it goes into a public registry, searchable by lot number by anyone who has one, whether or not they are our client. That is a harder promise to make, and it is the entire point.

How we work

What we do and don't do

  • We test — RP-HPLC purity, LC-MS identity, net peptide content, endotoxin, PCR sterility, conformity, and fentanyl screening.
  • We publish — Released certificates are posted to the COA Lookup registry by default.
  • We do not manufacture or sell the compounds we test — Our revenue is the analysis, not the material.
  • We do not certify anything beyond the sample — A result covers the material we received, and says nothing about any other lot.

Standards of practice

How we handle the work

01

Report what we measure

Results go on the certificate as measured. We do not round toward a nicer number.

02

State the method

Every certificate names the analytical methods run against the sample.

03

Keep the trail

Samples are accessioned on arrival and tracked to their report ID through release.

04

Publish by default

A released certificate is public unless a client raises it at intake.

05

Say when we can't

If a sample or a deadline is outside what we can do well, we say so instead of taking the work.

06

Research use only

We analyze laboratory research materials. Certificates are not a clearance for any other use.
